The Xantrex XW power system can be used in a solar or wind system or both. We have sold several of these systems which are installed pumping water and supplying homes and boats with power.
Can be used as an off grid system or be connected to the public utility as a grid tie with battery backup to keep your power on during outages.
The XW system is a great system for building over time. The XW inverters have a built in 48-volt battery charger for charging of wet cell lead acid and Gel batteries from the public utility or generator, and can be used as a battery backup system. The XW system allows you to add solar panels in increments of 48 volts over time. A XW MPPT60 charge controller is needed for use with solar modules. These systems work great with wind power, generators or Solar Power Panels.
